The RAM RAMD-201UC is a short double socket arm built for RAM's D-series 2.25" ball mounting system — the heavy-duty tier of the RAM lineup designed for large, heavy marine electronics. It connects two 2.25" ball bases, one at each end, and delivers RAM's near-infinite angle adjustment in a compact form factor that keeps your display close to the mounting surface.
A single internal spring holds the sockets open for smooth pivoting during adjustment, then locks down firmly when tightened for a solid, low-flex hold. The short arm is the right choice when mounting space is tight or when you want minimal arm extension with maximum rigidity.

This arm is only compatible with RAM's 2.25" ball system (D-series). It is not interchangeable with 1", 1.5", or 2.5" ball arms or bases. Pair it with the RAM RAMD-202U 2.5" Round Base with 2.25" Ball to build a complete surface mount.
