Seachoice 9" Poly Roller Cover — 1/4" White Nap
Designed for smooth, high-gloss finishes, this 1/4" white nap roller cover is the right choice when surface texture matters. The shorter nap holds less paint than thicker covers, which translates to a tighter, more uniform film with minimal stippling — ideal for topsides, gelcoat, and finish coats where a smooth result is the priority. The phenolic core resists moisture and solvent absorption, keeping the cover firm and stable from first stroke to last.

Best Use Case: The 1/4" nap is the go-to choice for topside enamels, varnish, and finish coats on smooth fibreglass where you want the least possible texture in the final surface. It’s not the right cover for antifouling bottom paint — the shorter nap doesn’t hold enough volume for efficient coverage on rougher or ablative surfaces. Use the 3/8" covers for bottom paint and save the white nap for your finish work. Colour-coding by nap keeps your covers organized and prevents cross-contamination between paint types.
