The Velvet Drive B107A is the forward piston housing ball bearing for 71C / 10-17 marine transmissions. Factory service literature places this bearing at the forward clutch / piston housing section of the transmission. It is a model-specific internal component and is not interchangeable with the corresponding bearing used in 72C / 10-18 units.
