The GROCO ARG-506 is the OEM drain wingnut and O-ring replacement for GROCO ARG-series raw-water strainers manufactured before August 2001. If your strainer bowl is leaking at the drain plug or the wingnut has become difficult to thread, this is the correct service part to restore a watertight seal.

- Verify your strainer's manufacture date before ordering — ARG strainers built after August 2001 use a different drain fitting and are not compatible with this part.
- Replace the O-ring any time the bowl is removed for cleaning to prevent future leaks.
- Hand-tighten only — over-torquing the wingnut can crack the strainer body.
