Product Overview
The Racor R23298-10 is the 10-micron replacement filter/water separator assembly for the Racor SNAPP™ marine fuel filtration system. It snaps directly into the existing permanent stainless-steel SNAPP mounting bracket with no tools required. The complete filter housing and clear collection bowl are replaced as a single disposable unit at each service interval, while the mounting bracket and 3/8" quick-connect fittings remain installed permanently on the fuel line. A self-venting drain on the clear bowl allows accumulated water and debris to be removed between filter changes without disassembling the assembly. A 3/8" priming tube is included to assist with fuel system priming during service.

Replacement Assembly Only: The R23298-10 replaces the disposable filter/water separator housing in an existing SNAPP installation. The permanent stainless-steel mounting bracket and quick-connect fittings are not included and are not replaced at service. How the SNAPP Replacement Works
At each service interval: disconnect the 3/8" quick-connects from the old filter assembly, release the filter from the permanent stainless bracket, and snap the new R23298-10 into place. Reconnect the quick-connects, use the included priming tube to prime the fuel system, and inspect all connections for leaks before starting the engine. The permanent bracket stays in place — no fuel line modifications are needed for routine changes.
Service Information
Replace per the engine or fuel-system manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, or sooner when fuel restriction increases, visible contamination is present, or water accumulation in the clear bowl becomes excessive. Drain accumulated water from the clear bowl as needed between full filter replacements using the self-venting drain.

Installation Notes
- Shut off the fuel supply before beginning filter replacement
- Disconnect the 3/8" quick-connect fittings from the existing filter assembly
