With no moving mechanical parts, the reed switch design outlasts traditional float-arm senders and eliminates the most common cause of erratic gauge readings. Stainless steel immersion tubes handle the corrosive fuel environment, and the included SAE 5-hole gasket ensures a clean, leak-free installation on standard tank openings.
