Seachoice 7" Mohair Roller Cover — 1/8" White Nap
A compact mohair roller cover for high-gloss finish work in tighter spaces. At 7 inches wide, it gives you the smooth, lint-free application quality of mohair in areas where a full 9-inch cover is too wide to manoeuvre cleanly. The 1/8" nap lays varnish, enamel, and single-part polyurethane topcoats down in a thin, even film with minimal stipple — delivering a near-brush-quality finish from a roller. The phenolic core resists moisture and solvent absorption, keeping the cover firm and stable throughout the job.

Best Use Case: The 7" mohair cover is the right choice when you’re applying varnish or high-gloss enamel on a surface that’s too narrow or confined for a 9-inch cover — cabin sides, cockpit coamings, hatch boards, and narrow topsides panels are typical applications. Like the 9" mohair, it’s not suited for antifouling or thick primers; use the polyester covers for those. The shorter width gives you better edge control on tapered or irregular surfaces without sacrificing the smooth, lint-free finish that mohair delivers. One cover per coat is good practice with solvent-based varnishes — they’re difficult to clean thoroughly enough for reuse.
