The Xantrex Freedom X Bluetooth Remote Panel provides convenient remote control and wireless monitoring for compatible Freedom X inverters and Freedom XC and XC Pro inverter/chargers. Once connected to the inverter and paired with the Xantrex FXC Control app, it allows users to review operating information, adjust supported settings and read system fault codes from a compatible smartphone or tablet.

FXC Control App Functions

Fitment Notice
Confirm the exact Xantrex inverter or inverter/charger model before ordering. This panel is designed for supported Freedom X-family products and is not a universal Bluetooth remote for Freedom SW, Freedom 458, PROwatt SW or unrelated Xantrex equipment.
The panel requires a physical communication connection to the supported inverter. Bluetooth provides the wireless connection between the remote panel and the mobile device; it does not eliminate the communication cable between the panel and inverter.
When This Product Needs Replacement
Inspect or replace the Bluetooth remote panel if:
- The display or control buttons no longer operate
- The panel repeatedly loses communication with a known-good inverter
- A compatible phone or tablet can no longer detect the panel through Bluetooth
- The FXC Control app cannot retrieve supported system information
- The communication connector or housing is physically damaged
- Moisture intrusion or terminal corrosion is visible
- Firmware updates repeatedly fail despite using the correct procedure

Before replacing the panel, inspect the communication cable, connectors, mobile-device Bluetooth settings, app permissions and inverter firmware.
Installation Notes
Mount the panel in a dry, accessible location where its display and controls can be reached easily. Route the communication cable away from sharp edges, high-temperature surfaces, ignition wiring and areas where it could be crushed or exposed to water.
After installation, pair the remote panel with a compatible smartphone or tablet through the Xantrex FXC Control app. Follow the current Xantrex owner's guide when updating remote-panel firmware or changing inverter and charger parameters.
