Can I chain two A06036 cables together to make a 10M run?
Yes — backbone cables connect end-to-end via T-pieces or connector blocks. Each junction point also provides a spur tap for connecting a device.

Does this cable carry power to my devices?
The backbone carries 12 V DC power from the backbone power cable to all T-pieces along the run. Individual devices draw power from the backbone through their spur connections. The power cable for the backbone is sold separately (included in the E22158 Backbone Kit).

Is this compatible with NMEA 2000?

Do I need terminators?
Yes — every SeaTalkNG backbone must have a terminator plug (A06031) at each open end. Without terminators the network will not start correctly.
